    You guys need to stop taking pictures of my stash....lol. I wish. just give me 2 solid weeks at one of those piles and I could have at least my 3 year plan wrapped up.

    That is a lot of wood. You think that's all fire wood? Or could that be for milling ?

    Its all ash. You have to add water to ash because its too dry...:whistle:

    HA! That's pretty funny...but there apparently is some truth there.
    I have been using a different wood furnace lately...was getting too high temps and short burn times...manufacturer says wood too dry, so I goes out and gets some of the only "wet" wood I have, some Ash that was CSS a few months back....and son-of-a-gun...problems solved! They told me the gasification process works better with a lil moisture...they said up to 28% MC works fine. I think I recall hearing the guy that had the Intenzifier stove at the DC stove challenge a few years ago got a cleaner burn with wetter wood too...weird huh?!
