Thanks for the kind words everybody. There were some complications at the end but everthing is great now. The doctors did what they were trained to do and I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. We didn’t know the sex tho I had it in my mind that she was a boy. When the doc. Told me to take a look I couldn’t believe it. This “tuff” guy cried like a little girl.
Well, now you have one of each. And a plus with daughters is that often (not always of course) they remain closer to their family then their spouses' families. So as the years go by, the odds are that your daughter will be closer to you and your wife than her spouse, assuming she marries of course. And that brings you closer to her children. “A son is a son 'til he gets a wife, but a daughter is a daughter all her life. ” And more often than not, I have found this to be true, so enjoy and look forward to enjoying all of her (and maybe grandkids) life. I know, all a long way off. But trust me, the years go by and soon enough, with a little luck, you will find yourself in that place with adult children so this may work out well for you. Brian
Grateful for a safe delivery, and what a nice surprise to have a girl! Some say daughters are more trouble to raise than sons, but they also say that daughters will pay back all your care when you are old! Anyway, congratulations to mom and you on a job well done.
Another great thing is you get another decuction on your tax even if she's been here only a short time. I see her drool gland is already working nicely.

Good for you...I personally think there is something wrong with a guy that can watch his kid born with dry eyes. Same here...we have a 3yo boy and a 3 mo old daughter now too... Congrats to you guys...cute lil bugger!
I hope I haven’t clogged up the thread with my kid. I really appreciate the support from folks that I haven’t formally meet before. You all are good folk! Kindred spirits! To often people look at you wired if you hold the door for them or say good morning. A little kindness goes a long way
