Once you get your general station by zip, just click on change and you will see all the stations around that you can pick from. I assume that most of these are private stations

    ^^^ Same here STB.

artc , you need to edit your Signature link and change ".com" to ".org" there.

That (redirection) is probably cached locally in your computer / browser - GoDaddy shows the (.com) domain name as available.

I spoke to my son in-law who is a master electrician. I asked what would be involved in getting my house wired so it would be easy to run a generator and to be able to accommodate the whole house. I am considering the one that SMB looked at from Amazon, but I will go with TS. Better price and I don't have to have the delivery hassle. Being without power just give me chills. Too old to keep up with that stuff.

Should be fairly easy and not too much money to have that done.

Larry do you have a propane tank?

Unless your going with instant backup generator take a look at a propane unit as well.

We ran a freezer, side by side fridge, furnace and lights off our little 3500 watt and that ran 13 hrs on a 20lb tank. It is also crazy easy to start.... we bought it at tractor supply. If you had a 100lb tank and a local fill up you could run for days without needing to fill or swap.

    Just a suggestion.

It was darn chilly out there this morning - checking the fluids on the '00 Camry b4 heading up north to pickup some CL purchased venting parts. :shiver:

Well, stopped in at the Used car dealer Wednesday after some business in Concord, explained the situation / that the vehicle was not road-worthy w/ a bad CV axle and Hub, dealer offered to replace free of charge. Took him up on it, vehicle was repaired yesterday, asked the mechanic to also do the thermostat (was partially stuck open), now the water pump is leaking. :picard: Not surprised, has 145,000 on the odometer, but it was a long ride out to Durham -> back to Stoddard last evening though, between the snow squalls, and stopping every 30 miles or so to check/add coolant as needed. Eesh. And .. No badbob, no video available. At least the heat is working now though. :loco:

Trip today was to pickup a proper vent cap for the Englander install, along w/ 15' of SS flex venting - going up 24" above the lower porch roof line at the corner for the initial install, needed a proper 360 circular cap. Some pics from the CL ad ..

    00m0m_lwKrlhBydL7_1200x900.jpg 00M0M_7yWGT7UDWg7_1200x900.jpg

Nice gentleman offered both for $50 on CL - the stainless cap & attached adapter alone are worth at least twice that - it was much appreciated.

Tomorrow is getting the plastic vapor barrier on the '96 Camry doors and the door panels back on, and pricing out a water pump for the '01 Intrigue..

And lots of IT work. Gotta get busy, have a great evening all.

I have two huge tanks, I am embarrassed to say I am not sure of their size. (CRS). So after going over the whole situation with my wife and my son, I sat down and ordered the generator from TS. I checked all around for other sellers of that model, TC was a $100 less than any of the competition even considering taxes and shipping. They gave me a delivery date of Wednesday this week.

Clicking the arrow to go to the refferred post has stopped working on Chrome with my laptop. Works with Firefox so its either a setting or Chrome itself.

Will check my computer at work. Tried updating Chrome to see if it resolved the issue-nope. Seems to me that Chrome has been a bit flaky lately.

It's Chrome. Arrows work fine in Safari and FireFox.
