image.jpg Installed adjustable air shocks on my rig and tested them out today with a cord plus of oak getting delivered. Rear didn't squat as much but felt kind of floaty. I guess better than dragging my rear and on bump stops. For the price it was a cheap fix.

The ol' 290 wheel chock was struggling some with the bigger ash.
It's a good saw, but think it would be happier with an 18" B/C combo.
20171215_113618.jpg it was a snag I pulled down,,,this is what made the previously posted truckload of "rounds"

Thanks! She does really well. Always kinda wish it was a 250/350 though. I had a 99-02 psd following me today that had a little trouble in the sand where i just floated right through. It helps being on the light side.

Trail got a little tight today! It was half mile like this. Kinda fun. My buddy did NOT take his newer superduty back there. Knocked Down one more live oak and called it a day. Hoping for two big loads tomorrow. image.jpg

That's a huge benefit to older trucks! I've brought my Bronco into places, or plowed driveways with way overgrown bushes that would have made me cry in a new truck.

But once a nice truck gets so old, one gets equally afraid to beat her up.....or at least I do. Respect the classics, make the ugly ones suffer :saw:

That's the only part I'm gonna miss about the rusted out 04 I just got rid of. It was fun to not give a **** about cosmetic damage.

I got behind this guy yesterday. He liked taking his half out of the middle.

It’s not firewood, but a load of cedar going to the local mill. I think it’s tile to get some airbags for the GMC. Between my transfer tank, toolbox and the rest of the junk in the back. Also the 3.5” leveling kit doesn’t help either.

Small hoard used the snow machine as the mule. Ported 026 makes for a pleasant day cutting. Temp was between 1-4* today. Snow was knee deep. Got to spend some time with my oldest. He love to drive the sled, and skinning all the lower spruce limbs, don’t complain about having to knock the snow off the tree. Don’t want snow on the saw, right? 89143E13-27C4-40E7-9C60-6CC2100EBAD6.jpeg F68BEE92-E84E-411E-9362-AE38229055FA.jpeg 26D9378B-3FBC-4FFC-9DD5-48360EFA692F.jpeg

$500 Tractor Supply special. It's only purpose is wood. Yes it is abused, if the fenders are not sitting on the tires it will take more, for now anyway.

Sounds like you need some stops so the springs can't compress so far:yes:
