She ain't $20 good looking. Found out the ziggy was his dad that opened the shop in '82. He did tell me he don't like square ground. He bleeds orange and white. When he was in Virginia Beach getting his Master Tech cert. Stihl had a grinding room, they did both round and square and then video'ed and timed cutting and 6% gain is what they came up with. And 6% gain is not worth the square grind hassle. This is what he told me the day I picked up my chain he square ground for me, @ $40 bucks for the sharpening. I may have a shot of buying it.
Never used Madsens. I've used left coast supplies and loggerchain when they had 20" for $10 and 25" for $14. That's the same price as buying it by the roll
I'd say our findings are more like 15%. But stihl round is pretty good out of the box, so it's why they got lower results
