I had a tree from Kmart or Target from 1990-2003, the metal branches eventually broke off from setting it up and then collapsing it to box it up again after so many years. It was inexpensive but looked fine. Somehow we've been through 3 more ones since then. Makes one wonder... And I'm too dense to figure out how to power up non polarized ends to polarized extension cords. Ya, we strung regular lights over it :picard:

SmokeyTheBear What is the current status of your getting a new generator? Did you go with TS or another? I need to find out from my son in-law what is involved in getting the right inside hook up to the electrical box. My son in-law is a master electrician. He rewired my house when we did the make over.

Haven't done a thing I already know where I'll get it and my house is all setup for it. This place was built off grid using a genny wired from the get go for one.

STB's problem was a fraudulent Seller Amazon approved even there is a page and so far they have a 100% negative rating and it ain't going to get any better. Amazon is now on the hook for at least 20 Champion generators and likely the same number of Honda generators. STB was made whole by the A-z guarantee.

Just so everyone knows we still put up our son's Frosty glow ball it now uses a led for its light source. It is 44 or so years old. We have a closet for all of this stuff that is full to the 7' mark.

Took an hour and 15 minutes to drive home this afternoon. Eh, could have been worse, no accidents that I saw. I did take the longer way home to avoid two massive trouble spots (steep hills with curves). I'm sure if I'd gone my regular route I would have seen at least a couple of cars off the road.

Got home to almost 6" of snow. Never turned to rain like they said it would (nope, not complaining). Got the snow blower out and went to town clearing out my paths and driveways. Now that I'm getting used to the snow blower, I'm not finding much to complain about, other than the throttle is on the wrong darn side dang it :emb:. Changing it over to 2WD made a huge impact on my being able to use the interlock more easily. That is, when I remember which hand does what :picard:. The biggest thing is it ate right thru the berm from the town plow :dex: - a lot better than the old snow blower.

Still snowing but they say it should end soon.

    I never said different!!
All I did, was try to understand more about his problems.
I can't know them, because I do not know him, his location, or anything about his issues,
    ....Unless I ask...
I will try to refrain from this in the future.

    But I will say this.
If one has problems with Prime,, I would not be signing up again,
and just take the free shipping with orders over $25...
But that is just my POV.

After about 4" of snow it did change to rain/freezing rain. Son came to plow. Vehicles had 1/4" of ice on all the windows. Can't wait to see what the driveway if like in the AM. This is one of those storms where you're screwed no matter what you do. Plow/blow and you end up with a skating rink, don't plow and you have a 4X4 test track.
