    Well now I don't feel dizzy looking at my tree and it has its top and lights. It was a four section tree now using just three sections and the shortener base holder doesn't sit in the base very well. The tree is ten years old, this is its eleventh year being setup.

    Luckily here in Thomaston we only got ten minutes of sl##t before it turned to rain...... :) Not sure what happening a lil farther north(home). Pretty sure I'll need to lay some sand down in the roadway........... MY lazy azz neighbors who be home all day won't be bothered to do so!! :rolleyes:

    Dan, I don't consider myself dissatisfied, unhappy or other negative feeling towards Amazon. In fact, they are my #l go to when I want something. Just frustrated from time to time when things are not as they say they will be. Yes, I have contacted Amazon. They even went so far as to contact the USPS and have a conference call. Did it resolve anything, Nope! I tried. When I receive something that is other than represented, it is always a third party sale. Not much I can do about that either except to let Amazon know the situation. My lesson learned is to buy prime products when available, avoid third party sales even when they may be cheaper. Lastly, know that the 2 day guaranteed delivery is a guaranteed good intention subject to revisions at their and the delivery services discretion.

    I rarely have any issues with Amazon delivery. I would guess 999.9998% of deliveries are within the time frame (some make it here in 1 day!!).

    Even though that motor has the old part number,it is no longer reccomended for speed control.is probably why Harman changed suppliers.

    Same here Larry, only 'non-Prime' orders here lately have been for auto parts, then usually heavily discounted, and only from 3rd-party vendors that have a strong sales presence on the site.

    As far as shipping, at least to here, it is what it is. Most times the truck has more packages than the total year-round population of our town. Always happy when the product shows up w/ 2-day, but unless it's "main hub" or East Coast (NJ/CT/MA) shipped, usually takes 3-4 days. Always have great service from the UPS folks locally, when it's held up, it's usually a timing issue w/ package arriving after the processing / trucking window, further South.

    Amazon does need to work on their large package shipment / freight logistics though. STB's generator saga isn't the first I've heard this season.. A co-worker had a similar issue with a freight shipment not too long ago.
