I ordered two things on Friday...
They were on my step 6:15 Sunday morning..
I think everyone is overwhelmed at Christmas time,
and a little patience goes a long way..
I have never waited more than the two days...
Many times it is a day and a half.

I too have prime have had it for some time. Like most things it gets screwed up from time to time, don't say 2 days when it is more like 4. I have stuff coming from Texas likely it will be here Thursday, it was shipped on the 10th coming USPS maybe, at least it should fit in the St. Bernard sized mailbox but one must allow for the packing apes.

Do you have that mail box along side the main road? How do you have it so it doesn't become a target for the plow? I don't have issues with the plow hitting my mail box. They only have hit it once. My box is in off the road in the corner of the driveway so the mail person has plenty of room to get to it, and there is no reason for the plow to hit it 5 ft. back from the road, The one time they took it out, they were backing up. My son tries to beat the plow by doing the plowing first. I used to do the same when I had a plow.

Been cool and dry here for nearly two weeks now, which is unusual for us this time of year.

High 20's F at night and low 40's F during the day time.

Running the big Whitfield 24/7 and it's Widdle brother at night.

Still too warm to really need both stoves 24/7.

Got up this morning and it was 75 F in here so turn weee stove off.

Rain returns by Friday, so it will warm up some.

Been a strange fall so far... Really wet from Mid October until the end of November, then dry.

    Global drying ????

    Sometimes.... S%#T happens.
When I get an awesome meal at a diner, for 10 years,
and I get a bad one, or bad service... I don't complain.
If it happened all the time, I'd seek a new diner.... and complain...
If Prime gets me my stuff in 2 days 98% (So far.. I'm at 100%) of the time,
I can handle a 4 day delivery once in a great while.

According to my numbers on "my orders" in Amazon, I have ordered 125 times in the past six months. A year ago, I was having just under 100 orders in 6 months. My mail order habits have increased. Much of this is due to pet supplies. While I have prime, many deliveries are 3-4 days. Still excellent, but not as advertised. A problem, not in most circumstances. A lot of my buying is for routine household items. While shopping is nearby, it is often hard to do because of limited parking, and difficulty in walking. So I resort to ordering things like toothpaste and soap. I even order some food items. I am not alone in this. Our post office now has two trucks going out on the same route. One does packages, and the other does the usual mail. Not an every day thing, but often. Then there are some days we don't get mail. I put a letter out with the flag up, but it is the next day before the flag goes down. Rare, but it happens. My Sunday Amazon deliveries are hit or miss. They will arrive in time at the post office, but don't go out until Monday. ? staffing. Today, I am wrapping a present for the post office delivery person. A little chocolate goes a long ways.

We (next door neighbor and I) had both boxes on the same post until the plow broke the post and the neighbor repaired it early this year and then I got an over sized one that wouldn't fit on the post platform any longer. My post is now before his post it is well back from the payment. If the plow takes it out it takes it out.

I was surprised when I actually got a Sunday Amazon delivery as they hadn't been doing any Sunday deliveries here at all.

ETA: Well, I really should finish working on the tree. The boss is getting the oil changed this morning, now that the garage has been rebuilt. Fire the first part of the year had it closed.

Well, guess I got spared for once. All we got here was a tiny bit of flurries, and then all rain. Temp hovering right at the 32* mark, but radar shows the chit heading away (toward Jay).

On the downside, the forecast for the next 3 days shows the temp not getting above 29*. :shiver:

    Thats what I say !! :)

Actually I checked this morning before leaving and no dripping. I didnt do layers as in letting it dry in between, but i also didnt spray heavily all at once. Sprayed the chute, then the scoop, then the augers and went back around a second time.

This isnt my first rodeo :D

Heavy wet chit today so will see how it workstonight. Generally I dont get chute clogging as this thing can move sn*w,even wet stuff. I am more interested in not getting a barrel clog around the augers when its wet and heavy.

The other thing is, is part of it your delivery service?
Do the items get "there" in time? If they do, it isn't really an Amazon problem..
If you are that dissatisfied by it, did you ever contact Amazon?
You may get a free month of Prime if you do...??

Dan, I'm sure Larry knows more than just a little about what end is up with his orders, most of the time things don't even come close to making it on time. When you make it a sales pitch you darn (the site replaces the word I would normally use) well better deliver or you'll get eaten alive and it makes no difference who you are these days. Amazon had to swallow the cost of the generator that will never make it here and in fact it will have to cover for a number of them.
