No grease or apparent boot damage. Sigh. Wouldn't have expected any less w/ the 'Red Herring' - this car's new moniker.

No worries - the owner was the mechanic who inspected the vehicle, pointed out all the various 'defects', and also said not to sink another dime into it. I'll keep everyone updated Pete.

Well, here we go again. Calling for 1-3" tomorrow morning. :( :picard:
At least I now know that the carb fix/cleaning I did last spring was the culprit of the surging.....she worked like a charm the other day. The Sno-Slide spray on the chute & inner housing, plus on the shovels is 'da bomb!

so, the other day I see my new/old neighbor (I call him that as he needed to move out for 16 months while his wife divorced him) and his sons unloading what looked like a skid of TSC white bags. I guess I need to speak to him!

Well, yesterday I moved the New Holland loader to the shop for winter sn*w removal and he was doing the snow blower operation. we met at the end of his drive. he told me what he spent on the divorce - you could buy a new DMax cash! Anyway, he said the propane was killing him so he bought a pellet stove. Needless to say, he's coming to see me for the next skids :). about 3500 sq ft, so it will be a 5 ton season for him, but with propane at $2.59 a gal pellets will save him a lot.

What does the Sno Slide cost? HD had the Ariens branded stuff at 10 bucks a can. Is that right or too high?

I think they lowered my area due to rain/snow line being farther north than anticipated. I would rather have all snow than the changeover

Got my candles in the windows and the tree is up but needs a bit of straightening. All sorts of small things around and yes the 4 year old is now at her home bugging her big sister. Quiet here now.

    Lol. I really don't know.

reminds me of the challenge on some "other" site though.

The firepot stayed nice and clear the whole time.
Just the baffles were so insulated by ash, we may have lost a percent or two of efficiency.

    Three?
