    I finished by 9.

The snow blower works good. I had to stop after doing the driveway to adjust the shoes for the yard. Once all the snow is melted off of it, I'll have to put it in 2WD since single wheel doesn't work so hot in the yard. Also have to get used to stuff that is different from my old snow blower. The one thing I don't like is the interlock. I'll have to read and find out if I can disconnect that feature. Eh, probably just need to get used to it and it will be fine anyway - just old and set in my ways. :BrianK:

Actually it isn't a safety thing. When both levers (drive and auger) are both compressed, you can let go of the auger lever and it still does its thing (locks the auger lever). The only way to disengage is to let go of the drive lever. So, I have to stop momentum just to disengage the auger :headbang:

Now we won't really know for a couple of weeks as it depends on how Al ships his citrus. Last year it came via UPS and USPS the UPS was first and that got here the USPS went to the Post office in Standish.

Don't know what your machine has for skids from the factory, but I bought these for my machine after the 1st winter using it....the crappy little steel shoes kept getting stuck. I clear a path to the sheds and for the dog walk near the tree line, so these work great.....they seem to make them for almost every sn*wblower, plus universal kits:

I have that on mine....it's called a small locking bungee cord.....LOL. I wish I had the interlock you have.....saves the left hand, unless you're working on increasing your grip.

Now I got a variety pack of Samuel Adams Winter and shoved 4 of them in the fridge yesterday evening thinking I'll try the Chocolate Bock as the boss wants to see how it tastes. She doesn't drink anymore and beers never were what she liked.

Mine are a hard plastic. Dug in a little in soft spots, but that is to be expected. Once the ground is frozen on top, they'll be fine.

That is one of the things I have to get used to - the auger lever is on the right so I'm slow in realizing I have to let go with my left hand (still don't like having to stop to go across ground that has already been cleared). Another thing to get used to - the levers are above the handle instead of below. And the span is longer than my hands are so the blower starts moving before I have a hold of the handle.
