No Stinny, talked to the dealer Friday who said it was in the warehouse in Toronto and would probably be delivered to them this coming week. Sounds like it is going to be a Xmas present....................
White 2-180 about half put back together. Bought it with a blown motor. Put in a low mile take out from a delivery truck. It's been in the back of the shop since last fall as a slow time project . Can't wait to run this beast !!
My wife is pretty open to this kind of thing. Not on this forum, but an another forum where the guys helped me hook up my boiler; they asked if I could get a picture of it, but then knowing my wife is cute, asked if I could "get one of my wife with the boiler to see which one they liked better." I told Katie what they wanted, so she put on her Little Red Dress and posed for a few pictures knowing they would be on the internet. I posted that photo on this forum in another thread, which you can see here...Are we all doing it wrong?, scroll down to Reply #46. Not a lot of comments on it, but then again I had a little rot in my sticks of firewood so I am sure the guys on here were upset at seeing that!
That’s going to be sweet! Delivery truck Cummins I assume? There’s a machine shop up this way and they are into pulling tractors and I think he’s got a couple UPS truck powered ones. That’s also about the extent of my tractor project in the shop too about half done just no time
Thanks. I think that was just before they fixed it the final time and got it right. They chained up the rear tires for me as well, before they brought it back when they fixed it. But I’ve been so busy doing other things for parents and working the regular job that I haven’t had time to do any work with the tractor. Maybe this coming week.
Another trick is to get old school buses. They are well maintained, typically not abused, and yet the engines would bolt up to an array of older tractors and such.
Here's my 1984 ariens GT 17. My dad bought it brand new. It's one of the last things he handed down to me before he passed this summer. I plan on restoring it to how it was when new. In addition to the 48" mower deck, it's got a 48" two stage snowblower attachment. Gotta love the real tractor PTO's on it. Front, center and rear.
Second picture is a New Holland tn60, I traded in a few months ago. I do miss the full cab on days like today, but I really like the new Kubota m5660 in the woods, it's a lot easier getting around. Of course I kept my Farmi winch. Haha
