    Cats can be so weird sometimes. I've known them to rather starve than eat what they don't like. Dogs are so much easier, when they get hungry enough they'll eat just about anything - not cats. It's the same with Hodge he has a daily buffet but won't touch any of it.

    Aww...... Earl is such a dork.
    If you were a dog, and wanted to get to your rope-bone/ chew toy, would you go into your kennel when the rope bone is outside of the kennel?
    I'm sitting here surfing FHC, Duke is next to me with his head on my leg, and we hear this noise. He looks at me, I look at him, and we both look at the noise.
    It's Earl. He's inside the kennel, pawing and licking at his rope bone. 'course it's outside the kennel, so he's pawing at the cage sides and trying to lick it. 3" tongue flipping in/out, through the bars. My laughter didn't seem to deter him, he kept at it for a few minutes. He finally walked out the open door and grabbed it, but the damage is done.
    He's a dork.
    I looked at Duke and apologized that he had to deal with that when we're not home. He licked my cheek, apology accepted. :)
