The junkyard id article stated how to look at the covers and determine what you were looking at. Kinda like a bark id. The same magazine is where I read about the ring gear bolt count. I have been wrong before.

Yeah. Running stock gears.. But for the record, this F-1 will roll the tires and do a donut in the prettiest form

The compound in these tires is much different than my Pro Comps. These turn over much, MUCH easier :) And they "Bark" too ;)

They will dry rot before the tread is gone. That truck is lucky to see 5,000 miles a year now.

Thats like my K10. I bet it dosent drive 2000 a year.

I was going to buy mud tires for it like 4 years ago and could not believe the price of even chinese mud tires!!

When I worked at pep boys like 14 years agoyou could get our mud tires for like $139 iI think for 33s.

As much as I drive it and the limited mud it sees I will just spin my tires a bit more .

It had brand new AT s on it when I got it. They probably still are like 59-75% tread left.

Treadwright discontinued the 33's, but a 31" Tire (BFG copy) is $98 a piece. They are pretty cheap through there. My tires balanced perfect according to the shop and also, they are quiet... Scary quiet. My last set were about $1,300. These are bigger and we're only $700. The tires on my car cost that much. Big rubber ain't cheap. But if you want to save a buck, and can use a size they make? Treadwright is well worth the money. They use the same "core" for each set of 4 tires. They won't use a Goodyear, a Cooper, and 2 Yokohama's. It has to be all 4 Goodyears, or 4 Coopers, etc to start with. So the size, look, and feel are all the same.

Would I recommend these for a daily driver? Probably not. But a vehicle that only gets used for "Work", they will save you a few bucks and look good in the process :)

I happen to know where one with 8k original miles is sitting. Other than needing the old fuel cleaned out and new tires it needs nothing. Don't ask he won't sell it.

Yeah that's the new bed, it actually needed a good bit of work but it was a solid bed with no rust. Just had some work needed done but the body shop guy hooked me up. Bought the bed from a guy in PA that gets them out of Texas.
Will probably go with 35s when I need new tires. Would like to get some black rims to go with them if I can find a good deal.

I think a flatbed would not be an improvement. Well done.

I wouldn't want one that had only driven 8k since new. If it was good to go, and didn't need anything than I still wouldn't end up driving it. If I get an older truck this year, I want one that I'm alright with taking back in the woods, hauling wood, getting dirty, etc. I already store one truck in the winter, so I don't need another I wouldn't drive.... but if I did have a nice K10 I know it would be sitting beside my other truck in the winter. Cant even help it lol.
