Depends on the individual bugs it seems... Some will make a hole 3/8" wide.. Others are small... All make a ton of sawdust.. And you can hear them in there munching your stacks in the summer...
Hard to tell without the bark, but it looks similar to the pecan at the house. And the first was persimmon?
There's a few pieces at the house I'll post up when I get home. Won't be lazy about it this time, plus we got a little more light at the end of the day.
Had to cut it from both sides with the 36" bar.. Might could have done it with a 32", but not the 28 for sure.. We milled 2 chunks of the main trunk for table tops...
I cant even imagine tackling that job without heavy equipment to move it around? How did the slabs come out?
