Got to try out the 261 that I square filed the chain on. Why is square filing not common knowledge. damm I was surprised just how much faster! Must have got it right enough, self feed well, did not have to push or dig the dawgs in, damm thing just ate its way to the bottom.

I think it'll be the last ride for a while.
Jury duty calls tomorrow 815. Should be interesting. I've never done it before.

Your going to burn some of that wood you have been putting in your basement. Freezing temps, you may get to have a white Christmas.

Doing good, last cup of coffee for the night, I've burned the midnight sun up there, but never the dark winter. Just getting turned on to the square chain myself and liking it. Not like what I've heard about it at all.

Its only 1705 (5:05pm) here so I have a ways to go. By solstice in a few weeks, we will be to 5-5 1/4 hours of light, then we start making it.

I just got the 441 cleaned up and back together. Save Edge is about to get ahold... bye bye round, I am going to get into the gullet as well. This is the original chain, 2 tanks on her so far. I was surprised how well the 261 sq bucked the pile. Will be interesting to see how much better the 441 will be.
