Heres my 660 getting to stretch its leg on a nice chunk of Honey Locust... With the 32" bar, this thing is pretty sweet...

Sweet sounding 660!! Looks like you have some huge rounds and logs there? You have a good wood hook up?

Yep that ought be interesting for the 460... But I like the balance with the 660 with it and a 20" bar for the 460.

Thanks thats the one Mdavlee had. It just feels good in the hands or I'm just getting more use to running such a big saw.

Yes, got a couple decent hookups. This guy is the guy that I got his wife unstuck in the snow two years ago, so karma is still giving. But he normally keeps the big logs to himself since nobody has the tools to take care of them. But this gives me a chance to take some of the stuff that others wont take, with my recent acquirements.

You should take advantage of any opportunity you get to run a stock 660. Then you will really appreciate what's under the plastic of yours. ;)

You are right about that. They are less than impressive. If I had to run a stock stihl the 461 would be it.

It's a single port out let still. I didn't like the dual port for milling so I never put one on it.

i have 2 mufflers ,the randy ported gutted one and a stocker ,right now i have the stock one with the dual cover on ,full baffle inside intact ,if i cut 1/2 to 2/3 throttle it is not too bad for noise ,i can tell it runs cooler with the dual port milling ,the plug is darker with it

Yeah I don't mind the noise. I can fix that with plugs and muffs. It's the exhaust coming back in my face.
