I've had newer and bigger, but my investment has been a little smaller on this one, and it has really suited me well. My "happy place" is when I'm in the seat of this little beauty. When I got her. After some TLC.
Thanks for the kind words buddy. Nothing like loading a 1k lb lathe in the back of a 70k truck lol. I felt bad, she wasn't running good that eve either. I went through ignition, points were out of spec and I had to replace one of the plug wires. Little by little, she runs like a top now though.
Thank you. I have a hard time on how far to go with things. I was going to just paint the areas missing paint (not too bad for 35 years old), but ended up painting a little more. I drove 45 minutes to a NH dealer to get the correct color code, and I will also distress and blend what I have to the original base. I would have liked to add a flattener to the paint, but using steel wool after it completely hardens. It really is a solid machine with not that many hours on it. I'm extremely conservative when I buy used equipment, but couldn't see how I would go wrong with this one. I've done a lot of work to it, but all the important stuff was there and it's definitely been a blessing to me. I don't use it a ton, but boy does it save me quite a bit of work when I need it.
They & Bobcat fight for highest lift (just about 12'), they pass the "highest lift" trophy back & fourth every time they make a change in the model. This one is pre emissions and 115 HP and has a 3750# rated operating cap. (1/2 the tipping load).
Not a skid loader...but my wood mover and all around machine. It lifts a lot of weight. Compact footprint.
What year is that? Late 80’s When I was 3-4 years old we lived in an apartment next to a Ford/New Holland dealer and I remember sitting and watching skidsteers like that being there.
Pre 84… based on the color code. Made getting paint a real treat, it's a different shade of yellow than the later models.
Always wondered why they had to change paint ever so slightly?! I guess just to drive people nuts years later
