    i run a 18 on mine but i have a 16 inch bar also and i can grind 325 chain the only one i havent tried yet is the picco but i rarely run the picco on my 026 or 290 it doesnt load the saw enough in my opinion

    You are not wrong. Those spikes look awesome. But they suck with an aggressive chain. I put your custom ones on my hybrid and it's the same way

    Every thing I have is 3/8's I was planning on keeping everything the same, any issues you see? I have also though of the LP picco stuff. It is suppose to turn fast.

    ported 026 will handle the regular 3/8 and the picco stuff sucks balls unless your just playing with it

    Other than the measurements, does the .325 have an advantage to the 3/8?

    Nope. It'll pull 3/8 just fine. You'll need a 3/8 7 tooth stihl small spline rim sprocket from your dealer

    Does it make a cut fast. Or is it really not worth worrying about the difference. I am not to complicate things.

    It's a teeny bit slower but smoother in the cut. Much easier to just keep it all the same.

    My 290 with 325 chain 8 pin square grind

    8 pin 325 is the same size as a 3/8x7

    I am excited to watch them. I don't have cell service where I am currently at, Sat phone territory. Work firewall does not allow videos.
