Great I just ordered the MS 261 Tuning Kit from my local Stihl dealer. Kit includes 3 Picco 63PS chisel chains, 1 Picco 16"-3003 000 6313 bar and 1 Picco 7 pin rim sprocket. The kit was about $117 CAD ($90 USD). The chains and bar would be over $170 if bought separately
I have that same kit on my 261c that’s “enhanced” also ... going to cut some wood and shoot a vid of it cutting ... post later on
Pretty sure Canon makes longer (18” and 20”) bars for that application if a longer bar is necessary... they’re not cheep but def superior quality !
I was running PS3 in the video I posted in this thread. I was using an 8 pin rim. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I have run stock and ported 026's. I ran Sawmikaze's 241 and it was impressive. I really like my ported new gen 261c. I think that and a 044 and I would need nothing else. Here's my 261 at the spring PA gtg. It's only on its second tank and looks like the chain is a little grabby. Out of the box RS chain.
Hey buddy at work on 12's and not feeling great! You would be frowning if you hear what saws I picked up in the last two weeks!
