our tree comes in 4 pieces. Kathryn put it up this year cause of the grandson. it has a dead light string in the middle. fixed it for $7....a 100 light string from WallyWorld.
Had a nice afternoon with my Dad and wife Nancy, my son David, live in girlfriend Jamie and their son Landon (who came yesterday morning to spend the night), and Kathryn's son Jim.
Hard cooking when her son is a chef, but we had a nice top round roast. oven to 500 degrees, 5 minutes per pound cook time, and let it sit in the oven for 2 hours. came out very nice. now time for another glass of wine!

Also love the Exact Fit portion of the Rain-X wipers. No trying to figure out what freaking configuration is needed. They are the exact same brackets that are on the vehicle

OH,wiper blades, one of my pet peeves for years. And me being a mechanic most my life.Bosch blades used to be the best for the money, with cheep refills, all gone,then,AC/DELCO was the best, with cheep refills.Old bosh and ac were true rubber, did not last long, but refills were one dollar. The holding frames of the wipers rarely wear out(unlike the 50's 60's,70's,but this is because of less windshield pressure. And,we have less windshield pressure because of the softer windshields, which crack and spread easier!I take wipers off camper and jeep in winter wash them in dish soap, wipe with brake fluid, can get 4-5 years out of them. But,I am cheep.

Cool that you're helping them out badbob

Why there vs. here, guessing 'cause it shows up higher in Google, (I started out over there & got help from many here), but as you probably know - we wouldn't be having this conversation on that site: this thread absolutely would not exist over there.. Bunch of damm rebels here. :D

    Cheers! :coldone:

Was at the local Aubuchon's yesterday and had a nice long laugh. They had Green Teams and Maine's Choice pellets for $6.79/bag. They also had Okie Platinums for $6.99/bag :bug:

I stopped cleaning blades beyond a quick wipe with a moist sponge and light soap a few years ago when it didnt seem to make a difference. Never heard of the brake fluid part but it makes sense to rejuvenate the rubber a bit.

The other place is training wheels and this is where the cruisers end up.
Gathering as friends, chewing the fat, and passing on the knowledge when called upon but not pushing anything on anyone. :campfire:
