    I had it at 13900 today but it holds good rpm in the cut chains was stihl round new off the roll

    I still don't think it's broke in yet. My 372 just woke up one day. Guessing my hybrid will give it some competition when it gets seated

    i usully run my 70 cc saws around 14800 when broke in kinda a sweet spot for them but i like to let them get some time before just turning them up
    still sounds good and runs good

    Round chain drags the rpm's down. I tested the slant 660's with square chain and they were faster with an 8. Round is faster with a 7 for sure. I came in almost last lol

    round chain test for them can show others how they are and that the chain isnt really anything special

    When your 044 was fresh, 15,2 was about the limit. Not sure if that number will go up once they're broke in. I haven't had a tach that long

    Most of my trees here are white spruce. A few rounds here will get big. To many wildfires every century keep the big ones from happening. Will see the big ones that we have on creek banks.

    here the biggest i seen was a field white oak about 4 feet diameter most is 30 inches or less

    Been awhile. On the coast here the Sitka spruce are damm big. Coastal rain keeps the wildfires at bay.

    I have found some large standing dead on one of the creeks I use when I am winter hunting. I will be getting them with the snowgo.
