great deal! On one hand I really want a splitter, but on the other, I enjoy swinging the axe and maul, and definitely could use that exercise.

Swinging the axe is fun, but...you can still get a lot of exercise carrying the wood to the splitter. :handshake:
And you can put up a lot more firewood with the hydraulic. :dex:

    And I'm old...:faint:

I like a splitter because I can get the size and shape split I like. Swinging the fiskars I’m not that accurate.

There were no guys in this pic. You would have to take a pic of the fire ring to find any of them!!

That's the splitter I have at the house. Works great and I've not had any issues starting it. In our ad they still show $699 ending today, unless I read the ad wrong.

Tim, that is a great bargain for anyone. That's somewhere around what we paid around 30 years ago for a 20 ton...

My wife is happy as long as there is wood to burn.
Before the splitter I couldn't get it all split in time to season enough.

A splitter is the only way to get on the three year plan.
Is still have the Fiskars for having fun, but the real work happens on the predator splitter

I hope this isn't seen as hikacking. I'm probably not in the market this year and I'm sure there's a million reviews but, what brands do you guys like? Anything made in the USA?
