    It has been busy around here the last couple of days. Tuesday I ended up working late as our local ferry didn't run due to high winds. Answering phones from 70 sets of parents kept the office going. we finally got everyone shipped off to home by 8:00 PM. Weather has been wild with high winds and at times torrential rain. Getting dark early in the afternoon doesn't help either.

    We are off on a dentist trip today so I hope the weather isn't too bad. It really helps to have two drivers on a long day. Of course the supervisors come along to make sure we behave ourselves. They enjoy parking lots and people watching.

    Happy thanksgiving everyone! Everything I needed to cook is either done, or in the oven. Kitchen is cleaned up, stove is choochin, and I'm now sitting on the couch. 4:30 am wakeups for no good reason is no fun.

    I am eating what I wanted for breakfast; scrambled eggs (butter and cream added) with some mashed cauliflower and sweet potato mixed with cream cheese (and more butter) :flipeggs:
    I always help clean up after the meal. Oh wait, I am always the clean up person after the meal (cats refuse to set paw near the sink :D)

    Rest comes later after cleaning Ziva's bird cage (just finished scrubbing up Birdie's cage/toys). Then I can get back to reading :thumbs:
