    Any idea on cow breed? Miles of a couple ranches on our way to town, and these short, fat, and very furry black cows are everywhere. They look a lot like the pic:

    apologize, I don't know alot about cows, but they appear shorter than the ones I saw in Colorado, they are not miniature for sure, but they are at/or shorter than the donkeys and mules they use.

    Also we approached the ranch owner on an injured Golden Eagle on their property, she is not, ummmm, approachable.

    Like Kevin said probably Angus. Beef breeds are trending to a smaller frame. More efficient.

    I'll stop and get a pic one day, just always either windy and or cold, sorry for the wild goose chase. I googled the sign above the ranch and came up with some pics but that site says its 30 miles away, who knows, maybe relatives? Thanks guys!
