Not a great sounding engine, and was almost killed before production due to excessive NVH problems that still exist. Oh, that's Noise, Vibration, Harshness

Champion gasoline and LPG 7500 watts running. It will do the whole house here with plenty to spare.

I considered the dual-fuel for the "new" shack too. I was going to have it hooked-up to the 2, 120 gal. tanks I have now. Never pulled the trigger.....yet.

I normally have a couple of spare propane cylinders for the grill and smoker so I decided since it is rare for us to lose power (this last wind storm was the first long term outage and at that it was only for about 30 hours) a full 20 lb tank would do the trick and keep things cold and warm .... without the hassles of gasoline.

According to Champion website, at 50% load, a 20 Lb gas grill tank will last 5.5 hrs.

5.5 hrs is long enough to keep the temp up and down in the house if you know what I mean. Besides I'll likely buy a larger empty tank and fill it for the off chance, there is also around 10 gals of gas around that goes in the mower, tiller, and Jay's friend the Snowblower that is push button start. I gave the old genny away along with the old snowblower to someone who is more than a little mechanically inclined than I, getting up after getting down made fixing the old blower an issue. Oh and before I forget Larry, I can still operate the recoil starts just see no need to do it.

That would be closer to normal, however I'd love to see them put it in the mailbox, it might fit but lifting it up to get it in the mailbox could be entertainment for sometime. My last genny came via lift gate to garage floor. It weighed less than this one does.

Well, it's 1:50 PM, and the fall chores are done:
    Leaves blown into woods √
A/C unit winter cover installed √
    Outdoor hose bib insulated √
Sn*w tools, windshield ic* cover, emergency blanket, emergency strobe in TrailBlazer √
All outdoor planter stuff cleaned out & stored √
Water hose drained & stored √
Moved sn*wblower to front of shed, checked gas √
    Extra strength Tylenol taken √

BTW, the strobe I mentioned is a great idea and works great...very bright and has 5 or 6 different patterns & an LED flashlight built-in. Magnet on back is really strong. I got them for myself and the daughters car (early B-Day "gift"):

Have to run to the laundromat to wash the Caddy car cover, then home and I'm SURE it will be Beer thirty. :coldone:
