Not getting as cold as they thought. 32 here right now. It will go down a couple degrees at dawn but that's not bad. 45 predicted today. This is really crazy weather we are having.

Mid 20's to mid 40's with mostly ash burning., today's my Friday.
Hoping it's not too wet to cut some firewood this week.

32 here this morning. I didnt load the stove too much last night, and came down to a balmy 61 degrees this morning. Load of red maple has the temps slowly recovering.

I’m thinking about helping my dad make a solar oven, however most of the time if its a hot day there, they eat cold food, understandably so.

No fire perhaps for the next few days. 64271DF2-E624-4A2C-AE00-CDFC073DDF0D.png
The nice thing though is two more days and thanksgiving break starts. It ‘ll be nice spending my mornings with my daughter for the week.

Currently sitting at -9 C (16 F) with 10 mph wind, so not as windy as it was supposed to be yet. Chance of snow as well. Poplar in the stove same as always.

It feels like it. Something akin to being in the oven with the broiler on hi.
