Yesterday I moved this winter’s wood down near the house. I have it all on racks I can move with the forks on my tractor.

I also filled the shed on the right with wood.

I make a temporary wood shed every year down by the house.

Nice Jack! Doesn't look like you could make it any easier than that! I love having a quick detach loader bucket and forks! You can get a lot of work done without a lot of backache.

Nice work! The forks make for easier wood working eh? I think there's a little maple poo on your tractor tire from last year. :D

Jack are you using the brush hog as a counter weight?

Jack Straw using pallets is the best work saver for managing wood
I also make a temp roofs out of hot tub skids and move them in spring with the forks.
Once moved out of the way, I restack newly split wood and move roofs on top of new stacks
I've used the same roofs for 6 years now and they are holding up great!

The tractor is the best investment after wood stove!

Jack Straw just saw you are near Albany. I'm on Long Island but my brother live near Saratoga lake.
I'm working on getting him on a 3 yr plan. He's at 2 now. We both have the same model tractorFord 1920 and it's a workhorse. There's a sawmill in the northway that he also gets slab wood

Looking good, wish I could've stopped by last month. Next trip thru, I promise....

    Jack,

That a slick system you have to save all that firewood handling! I still handle everything one more time to get it to the house...

Now hanging your wet laundry outside in the winter on a high voltage line is questionable! :picard: ;)
