Do you completely remove the TB to clean it? I do it on my TrailBlazer.....be amazed how dirty it can get behind the throttle plates. I also disconnect the battery while I clean it.....the computer will reset to factory defaults and it runs like new.

Looks good - except the coconut. Not that I don't like coconut, I love it. However, it no longer likes me and I get mouth ulcers and intestinal disorders from it :headbang:

Besides my usual Saturday doings, I finally lit the pilot light on the boiler so it can act as emergency backup heating system. Plus, I can set the Therm Guard to circulate warm water a couple times a day when it really gets cold out.

Just finished organizing the lists of the children my HOG Chapter has taken on for Christmas gifts for a local charity. We took on 19 children - 20% of the total of our membership ! The charity has gotten me 12 of the lists so far and I got them assigned to their shoppers and sent them the info via email (one person I will deliver a list to tomorrow as she doesn't do email or computers). The rest of the lists should be here Monday so I will be able to get them out before Black Friday. Once the shopping is done we will have a wrapping party and then I will deliver to the charity for distribution.

I didn't completely remove it. Sprayed it down and cleaned both sides of the plate as best I could with a lint free cloth. Pretty dirty.

Also cleaned the MAF, replaced the air filter, etc.

I don't have time for pictures right now, but suffice it to say they looked like hell. Engine does sound better. Raining like hell right now and I'd like to drive it in daylight to see how it goes.

No fault lights came on, though.

I did not disconnect the battery. Interesting about the run like new - probably resets a bunch of 'learned' things.

Anyway, all 5 spark plugs were replaced. Will get some pictures up soon.

Exactly. Engine computer constantly resets air/fuel, etc, etc.,to run properly even as things wear or get dirty.

No respect. Even Ford did a "respect" burnout tribute to him. Two sets of circles forming "88"
