Raining like a mofo and the temp is supposed to drop 35 degrees in the next 12 hours.

Sump pump quit today. Got it swapped before the deluge.

Well, that sounds like one of those good news bad news situations. But I'm glad you get the break you needed on the financial end.

Removed the shroud to access the plugs on the corolla...lo and behold, there was a hickory nut stored there!

Must've happened when I was visiting/working behind the cheddar curtain!

Plugs change went along with no complications at all.

Visiting with my parents tonight. I cooked them up some dinner while they were at Mass up at the Church. Had it all ready for when they got home.

Both are doing well physically. Mom is still sharp mentally as well. My Dad is slowly declining mentally with dementia / Alzheimer’s. Luckily he can still enjoy his meals, visiting with his family, and the comfort of his own nice and warm house. It is tough to see happen but good that we can still enjoy his company. He knows who we are most of the time. Gets confused sometimes, worse when he hasn’t slept well.

He just said to my Mother, “You know, we better get going. And get home. We can’t be out all night you know.” He’s getting tired. We are home Dad.

sitting watching some lazy secondaries in the stove and relaxing. I didnt accomplish nearly what I hoped for today. Got the oil changed in the generator and snowblower. Blower didnt want to start coming out of hibernation, so I spent over an hour getting it to start. Then went to start the lawn mower to start gathering leaves, and its battery was dead. I just gave up and went in the house then.

Oil in the generator was NASTY! Im guessing it had never been changed. I dumped it, ran some fresh oil for a bit and dumped that too, then fed it some synthetic. I need to get some non ethanol fuel to fill it back up for storage.

That or put it in dishwasher. I use liquid dishwasher detergent that has bleach in it - between the heat and the bleach it should be somewhat clean afterwards.

Do not pass up any chances to spend time while he is still able/alert/recognizes you. Once he leaves, its alot different.
Been there and it is a dammed shame.

could be....it wasn't running bad at all. The center electrode was worn on all four, though.
