She came just in time too! My new front mount blower will not be in until the 28th, so the dealer left my old 64" back-up blower to use in the interim. Sounds like I'll be needing it.

Not generally, the turf tires combined with the weight of the tractor works on snow. Ice obviously, is another issue. I have a set for the rear wheels. I also have a fairly large 3ph spreader for sand/salt mix. Pretty well set up for most of what mother nature wants to deal out......................

I pity those with the rear mounted snow blower. My neck hurts enough already without having to think about it!

    Lot better than nothing though!

Beautiful machine Rottiman! Front blower is just a dream for me. I have to move my whole azz sideways to look back while I'm blowing.
Now if that was mine I'd have a coat of wax on it already :D

Yes, all metal and not the least bit flimsy. Also the fold down grill guard keeps it protected. I'm really impressed with a lot of the features on it so far.

Do the turfs do better in the snow than ag? Paved surface I would think they would.

Probably be fine on relatively bare/cleaned pavement...but I know the 2wd 750 Deere with turfs at work is totally helpless in the snow

Yes, turfs work best on hard packed snowy surfaces Ag's work if snow is deep enough. R-4's (industrial lug style) are the worst because the lugs are too wide and just slide. On ice, they are all the same and need to be chained up.

For sure 2wd would be useless if it was not chained up.

Rotti, I notice you have the rollover bar folded down. Is that so you can get into the garage? That's what I do too with our tractor. Can't get it into the barn without the bar down so just leave it down.

Yup, she is 1 inch too tall for the garage so I have it folded down. Since the picture I have adjusted it so the top section is 90 degrees that way I'm not wacking my head when I want to work on something in the back.
