Thankfully. Young ones are incredibly resilient. Your grandson will get through it. Things will work out for you and yours.

Went out and cut three roses off the rose bush that is the hardiest here. I think they will be the last roses of the season. It is an incredible rose bush, standing over 12 tall. I think I will have to have a professional pruning person come in the spring and give it a haircut. Right now I think I will just prune away what may scratch the RV over the winter.

He will. He had to face an adult type decision. He will grow from the experience. Dad left him make the final decision and in my opinion he made the correct one. It is just unfortunate that it had to happen before their weekend get-away.

When we got home it was getting well onto dark. Our grandson texted my wife and said he wanted to have her buried in our woods. I believe I will bury her under a small voluntary tree in my upper field that I have been mowing around close to the woods. Tell him it is her tree.
It is suppose to rain and get nasty tomorrow and even worst Sun. I will dawn my thermals, raincoat and bury her with pride in the morning.

Supposed to be a cold windy rainy day tomorrow. Going to skip the tree stand and make some sawdust in the shop....built in cabinets and coat racks.

I couldn't sleep and found you all hanging out here. Marshel54's story kind of hit home. Lost 3 of my dogs to cancer 2 years ago and now
Lucy was just diagnosed with IBD she can't seem to digest her food suddenly. I'm so worried and she is only 4 years old. The medications
the vets put her on made her very ill, she started stumbeling. I took her off and she is at least feeling more herself again.
Don't know what to feed her. I'm cooking ground turkey and pumpkin. It keeps her from vomiting but still loose stool with blood.

We tried rice but that made it worse. This isn't a temporary upset an x-ray showed her large intestine wall very thickened it must have been going on for some time.
We had no idea anything was wrong until her stool got really loose. None of the different kibble or wet foods work. a lot of them she throws up.
