They still have stainless tubs, just bought a brand new speed queen. Figured I’d spend a little more and hopefully it lasts longer than most of the other crap they sell. Welcome to the forum Valleyman nice to meet you. I spent 4 years living in wingdale NY, right on the CT border. Used to go to New Milford and Danbury often. Also made many trips to New Haven which was much further but like you I am also a Pizza nut so it was worth the drive to hit up Pizza heaven. Your oven looks quite nice. I have a blackstone pizza oven I got this summer and absolutely love it. Brick wood oven is obviously a dream but that’s all it is for now. I focus mainly on Neapolitan style pies and sometimes NY, also been known to throw a Chicago together in the winter months. Do you have one style you mainly bake? If you ever wanna talk Pizza feel free, we have a cooking section here too. Welcome again, I’ll leave you with a pic of some of my recent pies.
I don't mind the age so much (except the aches etc.) but I object to a lot of people's attitude towards it. Once you are over 60 you are automatically considered slow witted, uneducated and generally too stupid to pay attention to.
Well, my dear (whoops), you are partially right but not totally. As for the slow witted, that's all in how you think. Uneducated? Well, that depends upon what type of education you speak of. Generally too stupid to pay attention to? Well, I don't know about this. You'll notice that I have a few posts and a few more likes on this forum. You'll also notice that my wife and I have hosted a couple great get-togethers and have had many members attend (btw, we're having another one next spring). All in all, I feel pretty good about this even though I do also have those aches and pains. btw, both my first wife and I just celebrated our birthdays (on the same day) and we are both in our 70's. So I say to you, pee on any who do think what you are saying. Those people do not count for anything. Pay attention to your friends.
Lucy at our camp we used an old storm drain cover.. 2 inch steel and 2 inch holes.. see if your towns road crew got one out back then cast iron on top and welcome Valleyman
