if you have a truck 2 100 lb tanks and a dual valve makes propane cheap I buy at TSC.. I too get hit for big prices because of low use.. if you own propane tank you can call and get better cash price. if rent only company that owns it can fill their tank you got heater Hate to see you spend 2k on pellet stove when 250 dollars get you 2 tanks and a double feed when 1 runs out switch to backup and fill spare at your convenience

Thanks the pellet stove idea is crossed off the list. Thought about buying tanks but with the heat pump it will be set and forget(hopefully). It’s a bit more up front but it will provide cooling in the summer the room gets hot with all the glass. And my kilowatts are cheap

I think the stove in the picture is propane, and is in addition to his woodstove.

How does that happen here in NH? Oh, earlier you said something about solar - that helps a lot!

The previous owners put the panels on so we get the benefit of pretty much free electricity without the cost of installing the array. During the summer our bill is 13 dollars what they charge to be hooked to the grid and we get a small check for the extra power we produce in winter the bill may be as much as 30 dollars.
