But, I felt bad for bragging, so took a pic of the P61a just after firing up after cleaning. Probably hasn't even hit 200* at this point.

My digital temperature display died. 9 years and it was old when I got it. I have the electricians at the plant looking for another one for me. I hate flying blind! Now that I have the high capacity combustion blower, I would love to know how it's doing. My guess is if it's moving more air through the pot, the dwell time of the flame against the heat exchangers might be lower. Hopefully I will have another tomorrow.

IMG_E1236.JPG IMG_1237.JPG It's an old school method, so take it for what it's worth. The stove is on 4 out of 5.

Awesome stoves , you guys have some heat monsters . I like the old school thermometer 500 is cranking ! and you can't go wrong with cast iron or the P61A.

Have a Rutland on the side of the Harman and nothing on the cellar stove but after the cleaning on Friday had it cranked and was showing 550* . Even with two stoves in the leaky old farmhouse when it gets into the teens its time to crank them up ! 5 feed rate and 6 continuous burn I don't fuss with the T-stat it never stops running anyways once it gets cold.
Cellar stove run on 4 outta 8 just enough to create a positive pressure down there so I ain't drawing cold air from stone foundation into the first floor .

No Ivan no real way to get it to the outside without it being fuggly or messing with my hearth which is built on a brick arch downstairs in the basement that supports the entire chimney 4 floors. I could definitely rework it have the knowledge but not the time and it would cost some serious coin, otherwise it would run on the floor to the outside of the house which is about an 8' run. Stove in the basement has helped significantly with the drafting issue actually pulling cold air from the basement foundation because of the chimney effect created by the beast on the first floor. There is a lot I can do but time restraints with work rule right now.

Forgot to add pics as requested so here they are , Rutland thermometer climbing back up and when you crank these p68 all the way its quite impressive the amount of fire they generate. This is when you can truly see what these beast are capable of, unfortunately stove ran out of pellets last night and buggerd up the glass so pics are not so great . And to add to Luneyburg 's explanation for using 2 stoves. I have OAKs on both stoves but the bedrooms have incredible pressure from cold air from the floors (over garage), 2 outside walls (both rooms) and the ceiling (not covered by plywood and/or wallboard - just ceiling tiles nailed to strapping and not all that tight). During the deep cold of winter I need the P43 to be on constantly to keep a positive pressure and repel cold air infiltration in those rooms.

If I ever win Powerball I can build a detached garage and turn the under-house garage into an extension of the basement. Then the P61a can keep the floors of the bedrooms warm - then maybe the P43 could be kept on thermostat all season long.

Got my new controller. It's a Eurotherm and is a different size so for now it's sitting nekkid on the stove. The top temp is the air coming out of the heat exchanger. The stove is on setting #1. We'll see what it says when I get a chance to crank it. The bottom is just a random set point that I need to read the book and figure out how to make it go away.
