About 10 or so years ago, my son and I were doing the heating/cooling for a set of condos. It was still in the rough construction phase and I looked out the window (just a hole) and saw a vehicle pull up, get out, grab a grey hard hat, and a clip board.

Son, c'mere. Whats it say on that guys hardhat?

He says O...S...H.. A.

I said, grab all my tools first, through them in my box, I'll meet you at the truck...and go out the front door to get there.

I grabbed a couple ext. cords that had been "modified" and one that just shouldn't have been used. Just as we were closing the tailgate on the truck, I looked into the condo unit where we were, but this time form the outside looking in.....the guy wearing the numskull was just walking in.

Back at the shop, the boss asked why we were here. Showed him the cords and reminded him of the other elec tools/ladders that were in questionable shape. He said Thanks, more than likely you saved $$$ today. New cords out of that deal, but that was pretty much it.....

I wasn't too sure there were any left after this year's "activities". Total stopped at 37.

 

I don't want to make you think ill about him or prevent you from watching it anymore, but he is from Iowa.

 

We have chippy's, black squirrels and red squirrels out the ying-yang right now. They are busy as he!!, but have at least another 5000 pine cones to remove.......................hopefully before they retire for the winter...................

 

Vermont is part of my territory for work. One of the salesmen that I work with up there is Asian, not too many of them up in the great white north. We were in a customers site together a month ago and OSHA came up. He mentioned that he had met the local OSHA inspector a while back, and that he lived local to where we were. He then said, "hes Asian too, so if its not me at your door....its him" I almost pizzed myself.

I've been seeing things flyin' around outside lately.......not talking about birds either.
Every winter during our mid-winter warmup, I see mosquitos. Hardy little buggers.
