    The 440 was updated many times thoughout the years ending its life as a 4T65E. Fixed a lot of those, not a terrible trans if treated properly and maintained. Still have 3 in my fleet an 02, 04 and 06.

    Maybe ended well, but didn't start out that way. Those trannys kept us busier than anything with warranty work. Hey when it was coupled to the 2.8L 6 cylinder-what else could go wrong ?

    Maybe a few, it was a long time ago and I was usually in a galaxy far far away :smoke::coldone:
