Long day at work...but I grabbed a pizza with my son at an old college haunt of mine. I don't think they've redecorated since before I went to school their. :)

Worked on the lodge afterwards. Cleaned up some of the old insulation and sheetrock, followed by a little (emphasize little) electrical work.

Watching "Alone in the Wilderness" as I head to bed. Night all. :)

Caffeine! Take son to doctor's aa soon as they open for allergy shot, and then get him to school. Hopefully mechanic comes this morning and can figure out what is up with my tractor. If he can maybe I can get some work done with it today.

Poor Ole beater was hauled away yesterday......too bad she was trapped at dad's gfs place with no brakes. If I could have got her home, I could have saved a lot of parts.....

On a milk run so I can make some French toast in a bit...took a break from more demo cleanup in the master bedroom.

Demolition would be so much more fun if you didn't have to clean it up! :)

Yes, two lane roads. They went the way of 55mph back in 1975. Or 74. Backwoods Savage do you remember exactly what year?

Brother stopped by Sunday and asked what was up to on Monday.

Told him I had to check my schedule....grabbed the calendar and said, "Yup, not only do I have it off, but it's paid too! Just like the next day and the next day and ....."
99 didn't appreciate it too much.....

Cold morning with stars peeking through. As there was no wind on our walk, we got to smell creosote burning from the wood burners who don't know about the 3 year plan. So many to educate, so little time.

Half way through November already. Hard to believe. 5 1/2 weeks to "Winter Break" or I like to think of it as Christmas holidays!! Time to get present making a little more serious now.

The chipmunks are long since gone for the winter, but the squirrels have suddenly gone back into overdrive. Crazy fat little bastards

Karma? A business on WWW's street is getting a new roof, the company doing it plays dirty, uses non documented labor, pays under the table which also means not contributing to taxes nor paying workmans comp etc = costs less and he steals a lot of bids that way:mad:.

WWW was busted by OSHA recently, they had over $8k worth of safety equipment up there on the roof, one ell for the entrance (a fraction of the size of the roof) was not perimetered, they sat and watched and waited for hours with camera in hand, yep, one of the guys finally accidently stepped over the perimeter. Fee was $9000 for infraction, and they had to interview all the employees, they came this morning for the interviews.

And. They noticed the roof across the street  Mentioned blatant disregard for zero safety equip, a couple other things, as well as the guy didn't even pull a permit. Who knows, with all that $$ under the table thst company does, maybe a $20,000+ fine is no biggie to him (just sad though, as it costs FAR more than $20k to do a job legitimately (payroll/taxes/insurance/workmans comp/proper safety equipment and take care of employees through the winter months), but it's nice to see the system working as intended instead of staking out to nit pick on the legit businesses.
