Not according to Motor Trend: "The Ford GT is EPA-rated 11/18/14 mpg city/highway/combined".

If I sell a few assets I might be able to swing it, it won't look great on the retirement side of the ledger however.

"...not a production car..."(these are your words), & that's not what you said to me a year or 2 ago when it made it's "debut" ......if that's the case, it should never been able to run LeMans.

I had a Ford Pinto, that got 14 mpg.

ETA: They wouldn't have let it run LeMans either. :D

I know nothing about it except all the car/truck magazines rave about it.

This isn't their first time shacking up.
    GM-Ford 6-speed automatic transmission - Wikipedia
I remember going to training for this trans before it was put into production. Now they're obsolete to the 10+ speeds...

The only GM tranny I worked on(actually mostly did R&R while apprenticing under the tech that specialized in transmissions) was the 440T4. If I remember correctly it was GM's first transverse transmission and what a POS that was. The tech I worked with contributed to many of the fixes and mods on the original versions. I was being trained on repairing as well as the R&R and then was transferred to the Isuzu line.

Me too, tried to get the wife to go for one last Sunday and she wouldn't, something about a blister under one of her new teeth (partial plate) she had two teeth removed on Wednesday. That kinda slowed down her ability to chomp down on things and will for bit longer.
