Progress 4 of the five are installed and working with 10 year lithium batteries, I don't plan on replacing them until the detector needs replacement. The fifth one waits until Sunday and someone who doesn't mind working off the extension ladder is here. Saw 6 deer in the yard just before 7 this morning. Boy did they look yummy.

ETA: Sunday instead of tomorrow as the boss corrected me.

You mean the race car that Ford managed to make into a sort-of street car (after a couple of years of trying, and Ford didn't really build it.....Multi-Matic in Canada did), and then charged so much that the average person could never afford it, plus had "conditions" on who they were going to allow to buy one, and gets 11 MPG around town??? Yeah, great company. I can drive 20 minutes and buy a car that's 1/4 the price, is faster, and can be worked on by the dealer under warranty. Funny, I can't seem to find any info on a warranty for the GT.

Oh, and BTW, wait for the '19 Mid-engine Vette....which will also be MADE IN THE USA.

Question for the GM and Ford fans.

They have the new transmission they co-developed.

If it's bad in a GM, is that Ford's fault?

And if it's bad in the Ford, is it GM's fault?

    It's probably FCA's...

    :D

2017 Ford GT Supercar First Ride | Review | Car and Driver

Thats 14 MPG and its not a production car its a super car. You can't even touch one for less the $45o,ooo clams. And they are only building a small amount. You have to be pre qualified to even get a chance to purchase one. No worries we would even be considered as we won't qualify......................

Both wanted a 10 speed to keep up with RAM which has an allison IIRC.

"This new 10-speed rear-drive transmission is the result of collaboration between Ford and General Motors, although Ford had the engineering lead on it. The companies also are jointly developing a nine-speed transverse automatic for front-drive cars and crossovers; GM is leading the engineering on that effort."

Depending on which model you buy - they'll blame the other company. The deniability should be spectacular. :D
