I learned that the snow owls will migrate through the area and rest like that when they get exhausted. (Too pooped to flap?) You could walk right up to this one. May be alright, may not...who knows?

    Been busy.

Worked 19 days straight, today was my first day off in 19 days.
Got off at 1am this morning, bed by about 230.

Felt good to not have to set an alarm.. Am quite surprised my phone never rang
though to go tow someone or help someone.
Woke up around noon, let the dogs out and then found my self in my recliner
shortly after. Slept until about 3pm with the tv on and a dog in my lap. lol
Still woke up tired.. Went and got my hair fixed up, split and stacked some wood
and then the wife came home and we went out to dinner.

    And its official.

We are moving to Indy in about 7 or 8 months.
Its set in stone and a done deal.
    Ready, so ready for this.

    oh and..

Wife, one of the dogs and I are taking a road trip to visit Redneck ,
his wife and they're new family member they adopted from us.
Should be a good time, let the brothers play awhile. Dropping Mom
and Dad doggy off with my Dad in Indy on the way so he can watch
    them and play with em.

    Oh. Couple more things.

Answered an ad on craigslist for free walnut and hard maple.
Cut, on the ground, dead, bring a saw and cut what you want and take it away.

Called/emailed the guy. Asked if he could hold the wood until Monday, the 6th.
He said sure, and the 6th was about 5 days after me calling him... So super nice guy.
He followed through and so did i.

I showed up and loaded my 12' trailer, big ol heaping load too!

    Guy was cool!

    Sells and burns wood.
Has a 30some year old speeco splitter.

I bet we chit chatted longer then what it took me to cut wood and load my trailer for.

    Took a picture with him..
Cant even remember his name, i told him to call me if he ever gets in over his head again.

99 will be helping out at bingo this afternoon, I think I'll take another skip to the cottage, light up a fire in the workshop and relax a bit. Just another excuse to go check on the owl and see if it is still around the same spot, too.

That sounds like a good trip for you. Redneck is a good guy. He has been to our place a couple of times and we enjoy having him here too. I hope you have a grand time.

my 3yo is in the bath tub. Stepdaughter just looked in and said ewww! Wife walked into the bathroom and then literally ran out the side door of the house yelling that this is on me. I walked in to see about a dozen chunks of crap that she fished out of the water and then put on the edge of the tub. Smelled really good in there too. o_O

An hour ago, right after my last post, I told my wife I needed to run to the store to buy oil so I can change the oil in the snowblower before the season, and in the generator after its 3 day workout. She told me she wanted to come with me.

Here I still sit, waiting for her. Its 16 minutes round trip to Tractor Supply, I could be almost done by now. But I also now have to go to the grocery store on top of that. I doubt the oil will get done today now.
