She looks so nice. All those pups need time to grow into those ears and well, their whole head. Good looking dogs guys!
Great looking pup, congrats! And as far as crowding around the warm stove, that is a lot like the dreaded 'Ray of Death', the effects of which can be seen in these photos. Last week while I was in front of a gas pump grabbing fuel for the generator, a GSD poked her head out of the club- cab truck in front of me. After asking 'Dad', I walked up and gave her a Milk Bone and chatted with her a bit and did some of that head and neck scratching that dogs have trained us humans to do. Anyway, it was not a standard GSD but a long- haired breed and she was absolutely perfect and beautiful; light eyes and a perfect mask and saddle, along with a nice medium tan body. Fur (the outer coat, the guard hair) was about 6" long around her front shoulders but tapered perfectly so it did not look bushy or tangled. Truly a magnificent dog. We lost our last one three years ago and are not in a good situation for a pet but I swear, I could not turn one of those away should it cross my path. Brian
I thank you all for the replies, some pretty damm funny replies too!! I didn't mean to abandon this thread but unfortunately I got some bad news concerning my health once again. I can't seem to catch a break, ya know..... I'm going to have another battle on my hands so I need to go on a weight gain diet to get ready. I still haven't gained my weight back from August's surgery, so know I'm making these super high calorie and protein shakes a couple times a day. I need to put about 30 lbs. back on as quickly as I can. I will keep you posted on my progress, god bless and thanks for being so kind!
dylskee sorry to hear you have another battle on your hands. How is your wood supply? I am over here in South Eastern Mass. and travel out your way often. I have more seasoned oak than I need and could easily drop you off a few pickup truck loads if you need. You would be helping me as then I would have an excuse to cut more wood.
Hahaha!! But in all seriousness, I do have plenty of wood but thank you very much! You are a very generous and kind person! If you ever need anything, you just let me know. I have time on my hands, not a lot of strength but time.... You have made a few offers to me in the past and I will never forget that.
