Headed in to my night job this morning (long story and not interesting). Worked out well since the dump is closed for Veteran's Day, so I may, or may not, have thrown a pellet bag full of used cat litter and trash in their dumpster .

Got home and complete two loads of laundry and mowed leaves for almost an hour. Cleaned up the rest of the lily stalks, watered indoor plants and cleaned both stoves. I didn't do a full clean, everything but the exhaust as those should be good until next cleaning. I definitely left the P43 until the last minute as far as the ash pan goes.

October Glory maple is confused and thinks it is a November Glory - picture taken today. Last maple to have any leaves at all.

Finished up a day of outside work. Was actually nice in the sun as long as you kept moving.

Took out the sn*blower, got it running and put it in the garage. MC swapped places and went in the shed for its winter nap.

Few hours of yard cleanup with the lawnmower as well as taking down some large broken limbs that were hung up on other trees from the wind storm a week ago-some of those would have done major bodily damage if they hit anyone that didnt know they were there.

Still need a day with the chainsaw to clean up a lot of down or broken stuff that is leaning on other trees plus need to cut up 1 large tree that fell but all of that may be a spring thing.

The snowblower didnt want to start at first, but finally got it running then it just stopped after about 30 seconds and woudnt start. Re checked everything, pulled the plug and all looked fine. After 30-40 minutes of this and that I saw the fuel valve was off . I didnt recheck that because I knew I had turned it on earlier.

It was definitely on as that was the first thing I checked when it didnt start in the beginning but I was flipping any thing I could to get it re-started after it ran a bit but I must have left it in the off position while playing with things. The 30 second run was all that was in the bowl.

Soooo, first I leave the plug in the intake tube of the stove 2 weeks ago and now this. Is 54 when CRS starts setting in? :emb:

It is usually well advanced by that age. A good clue you have is when you only drink half of your first mug of coffee of the day.
