    Going with the hot removal with a squirt of carb clean and then a lil soak with Kroil. Then impact them out. I can get the 1 through 3 and 5 through 7 out with my current impact. But need a right angle for # 4 and 8........... Just so happens TSC has a sale on tools. :D :makeitrain"!! :ups:made a stop Friday!! :banana:I got the removal tool if they so make that sound! o_O

    Them youtube vid's make it look soooo easy. Not sure the old bones can contort to some of the spots needed to get into. Dis should be fun and painful!! :headbang:

    :doh: :pain::pete:

    Good luck "old guy" LOL Just be careful spraying or squirting anything flammable into a hot engine. Not sure your insurance will pay to replace a burned-up Ford......or maybe that was the plan from the beginning??? ;)

    Our box truck at work has the Triton engine that blew a plug last year. Cost us :makeitrain"to have it fixed. Being a van type setup, the engine is a royal PITA to work on.
    I had advised the owner to get a cab over setup like we had before. Meh, we make things work as needed.

    These pictures were all taken from the on line version of our local paper. They were in towns in central and southern Maine. I only get the on line newspaper. One less item to have to waste by reading it on the web. It is updated through out the day so it is wise to ck in frequently.

    ahhhhhh the pleasures of owning a diesel! no spark plugs. (there's plenty of other spaghetti under there though!)

    I have to change the fuel filter, and unlike my 2004 DMAX where I could actually see the filter, this one is under the air intake. gonna be some dis-assembly to get to it!
