Fixed Weather Stickers

The old WeatherUndergound stickers are no longer compatible with the FHC forum. We recently made the jump to a secure server and to keep our secure status the server caches any non-secure images. This cache only gets updated once a day, and so your stickers are out of date most of the time.

I have found two website that offer secure weather stickers, and I suggest using them instead of WeatherUnderground. See my video for how to add these stickers to your signature.

Not so fast there Grizz OM replacing the http with https should work for those Weather weasel images. It has worked on weather weasels weather pages.

 

Weatherunderground stickers:

Notice how there is no second image. Modifying the weatherunderground url does not fix the problem.

 

Have you reported their foul up as their widget code shows http even when using https to get there as far as the image link is concerned. Looks like they got half way there.

 

Nope, feel free to do so. I am not a big fan of their weatherstickers to begin with as they seem to go down for extended periods of time on the regular.

 

All data driven sites go down or are sporadic on a regular basis. The best example I can think of is *zon .
