I only heard what was on the six o'clock news which wasn't much, yet. I'm thinking the heavier stuff stays south of us.
The local weather was just on, it looks like the northern tilt from Watertown to us has changed to more west to east which would make it miss us. I think the Lake Effect last through Friday so we still could get hit.
We are getting a little lake effect off Lake Erie. Got some yesterday, today and into next week on and off. Beginning of the week they predicted almost 30” be Friday but I think going to be much less. Maybe 4-5” yesterday and a few here and there, but as always you never know what might happen
We are about the same. Looks as though well see 15" through the next week. Might hinder tractor shopping.
Saying up to 12" now. There will be an afternoon rain/snow line, we're supposed to be too north of that, but ya never know. Plowed 5" yesterday, got another 2" today. I guess winter is finally here
Blew away 4" here today another 5" coming by tomorrow night. Was sitting right on "O" here this a.m. and has warmed up to nine now. Yup, winter is now here.
Plowed 8" thus far, expecting another 2"-3" inches before its all over. Then the cold moves in. Well see highs in the single digits to low teens, and lows in the negatives. Both Harmans will get a work out overnight starting Thursday. Snowmobile trails open Thursday.
It sounds like we'll be getting some winds, maybe gust up to 35 mph. We decided we would try the pellet stove for the first time, the old yankee pellet stove can still put out that constant heat.
We had 7 this morning and the upstairs was 70 with the pellet stove set at 79 in the basement overnight.
We had - 7 fahrenheit this morning with todays temp hitting 10 for a high, another night of colder weather and then some better temps move in.
