Damm STB, if that's your idea of an oil change - I'd love to see what the tune-up looks like.

Told ya I hates cars. They frequently need to be put out of their misery. I hate to see things suffer.

 Agree Will - Great movie! We frequently refer to "Mr. Tibbs" in the proper form.

Mr. Tibb's operation 'Escape from Alcatraz' was successful - took the little guy out for about 1/2 hour. I grabbed pellets from the woodshed, he chewed on grass ... and chased moles. I think he got the better deal.

Can't really leave him unattended this time of year - even though he is leash-trained, wears a harness, and is on a runner..
Coyotes. Been 'tuning up' on the ridge across from the house, calling out every night for a few weeks now.

    Meanwhile..

Ladies went to startup the stove, smelled smoke, and shutdown.

Pulled the stove panels, stove was -stuffed- full with ash.

I had the stove running during the rains/storm on Monday - best I can figure the high winds pulled a ton of ash from the lower tray into the Heat Exchanger -> Combustion blower chamber, and blocking the exhaust pathways behind the Firex panels. Wasn't any lack of proper maintenance..

2nd deep cleaning of the season, stove and venting. 2 hours later.. fired 'er up, all is good.

Those jugs make me want to go buy oil.

Hate that noise. Luckily in all the years here I have heard it only twice, and those were in the distance. My honeys former place in Kittery was a different story-heard them all the time and close by too.

I am an animal person but those f*krs all deserve lead poisoning
