Xena, I like your style. Baiting pigs.. Fortunately, not illegal in MA.... Only applicable to deer as seen below: 14. Prohibited: (b) baiting deer, hunting over bait, or the placing of bait for the purpose of taking deer or attracting them to a place where they may be hunted. Bait includes any artificial or natural substance, including but not restricted to salt, corn or other grains, apples or other fruit, vegetables, or any product or substance which constitutes a nutritional attraction or enticement to deer. A baited area is any area where bait has been placed and remains a baited area from 10 days prior to the opening of the archery season to 12:00 noon on the day following the close of the primitive firearms season. Time to load up pilgrim!!!!
yea, had a customer who had their stash stolen....was by the side of the garage when they went TO work, but when they got home.....gonzo......
I scored 10 bags of TSC pellets today 10 bag limit , pay inside drive around back to get loaded they have to guard them, said people were stealing them here's a link anybody know anything about these?? http://gepir.gs1.org/v32/xx/gtin.aspx?Lang=en-US Edit: My man Steve is all over this these are re bagged Cheat Rivers not on my top 10 list , but do what you got to do Harman will eat them up
Wood piles are not safe either. It amazes me when I see folks here showing off their stash as it sits in their yard where anyone can back up to it and help themselves.
Yeah like this story from NH today. http://www.wmur.com/news/police-firewood-stolen-from-raymond-properties/24838044
Going to get a ton of GreenGold pellets tomorrow morning. Not sure how good they are but they'll produce some heat and looking at the weather forecast, I'm going to need them!
Green gold is the same pellet as Greene Teams available at Lowes(when they have them). Decent pellet with nice heat. Ash is a bit high in some batches. But they should burn OK for you.
Nice! I'm hoping my truck can handle a ton of pellets..... I only have to go about 20 miles so I think the Tundra should be okay, I hope.
Truck is going to 'squat' some but is do able and recommend making sure your tire pressure is correct in all four before heading over. My best friend took me about the same distance one year to pick up a ton in her 2000 Tundra. She took it a little slower with the pellets in there and all was fine. Good luck!
I scored 15 bags of Logik E this morning. Dealer down the street from me got 44 tons in this morn. 15 bags pp and they were all gone in a matter of hours. Feel a little better now I have 50 bags to ride out this crappy cold March.
I would pump the tires up to maximum allowed cold pressure as indicated on the sidewall. A little rough ride on the way there, but safer with the load in it. Let it out after unloading.
if your pellets are outside watch out. guess the rationing is causing some to resort to stealing from others. neighbor of mine just got a ton stolen from his backyard overnite. They stole them bag by bag so he never heard a thing. Bastages.
