    I have never heard anyone say buh bye; in fact, buh is not even a word. I just tried saying "buh bye" and it doesn't even make any sense. Why would anyone add "buh" when saying "bye?"

    It's an old SNL skit. I'd post a YouTube video but the only one I can find a political piece with commentary mixed in. Search "buh bye" on YT and you'll find it. If you've flown as much as I have you can appreciate it.

    Yep, it's a skit. It's making fun of flight crews as you leave the plane. You may not have known, that's the young Chris Farley and David Spade there. I beleive some of the funniest to ever be on the show, especially when working togeather. And of course Mike Meyers there in the middle.
