Surprised you didn't get it too bad. We got hammered last night. I was woken up at midnight by a treee crashing down in the woods. Then was awake for two hours unable to sleep with the wind howling and the house loudly getting pummeled by god knows what. Then up at five to leave. Had a large 5-6" diameter branch laying a foot to the side of my company car. Just dinged the roof edge luckily.

Lots of large branches and leaves everywhere from what I could see. Power is still out according to my wife. I'm gonna have A LOT of cleanup to do!

Oh, and the tarps blew off my stacks too

Light snow since last night here. Zero accumulation. If it's going to be dark and dreary for a couple days I'd prefer a bit of moisture for the grass (hoses and line shut down for winter). Oh well.

I felt pretty good this morning. I went to work and gradually felt worse. And worse. I even went to the Walgreens at lunch to buy more delsym to stop the coughing. I can't imagine had I not taken that cough syrup.

I got home, and between the work day and the cough, my azz was kicked. I lit a fire in the quadrafire, and have a heating pad on my back under a blanket. That helps.

Oh, just found out, the delsym I thought I bought the 9 hr stuff I had before. It was 4 hr stuff, so I was well past due.

We'll see how I feel in the am. If I don't feel a boatload better, I'm calling in.

    Watching some football tonight.

    Next on the list,
    1. Call to have septic pumped
    2. Clear area for storage of backhoe for the winter
    3. Clear trail behind wood stacks so the tractor fits through better
    4. Make another trail wider for tractor and clear a few trees out for another winter plowing zone in that area.
    5. After all the above is done, I can start stacking.
    6. I'll give myself two weeks to finish the above jobs, hopefully less.

    You forgot.

    7. Stop by Gas' place and help him get his chains on rear tractor tires.
