I said almost, haha. Its not monotone there is some inflection. Bit I bet you dont talk just how you sound in your video. My bet is it gets more natural as you get more comfortable.
If you look at the black out video, that's pretty close to how I talk. The grinder video, I think that the one, is a good example of the reading voice I use when reading training documents to new employees at work.
Been doing a lot of work lately that isn't resulting in any videos actually being made at the moment. Learning about the film making process and, more specifically, about how to get the best quality shots with my iphone and ipad. Also considering building a FHC TV set in the loft above the garage, complete with green screen. Next on the list will be acting exercises so I'm less monotone
Haha. Ask your wife. She knows you. Say do I talk like this normally or do I sound like I'm reading a script?
I'll be honest . I probably would too. Sound that way if reading. I'm sure you dont sound that way if we were hanging out cutting wood or something. There is inflection there just not "natural" its also really not monotone either. Thats why acting is really hard.
Maybe a british or scottish accent. Or a pirate. I like adam savage on myth busters pirate character.
